FC Porto ‘to appeal’ to TAD and file injunction over William Gomes

According to O Jogo, FC Porto will appeal again to the Tribunal Arbitral do Desporto against the two-match suspension imposed on William Gomes.

The club will also lodge a precautionary injunction with the Tribunal Central Administrativo do Sul, seeking to suspend the Conselho de Disciplina ruling of the Federação Portuguesa de Futebol.

Time is against Porto because the court does not sit at weekends.

Any decision on whether to admit the injunction must be taken tomorrow, and that is not certain.

Earlier today, the Conselho de Disciplina said it had partially rejected Porto’s first appeal, keeping the two-match ban but reducing the fine by 300 euros.
