FC Porto continue preparations on Thursday for Saturday’s 18:00 visit to Académico de Viseu, with an afternoon session and a small change to the routine.
According to O Jogo, the players and staff will watch the Champions League draw together at 17:00, which will determine the eight opponents of the national champions in the competition, returning after two seasons away.
Afternoon training is not unusual for Francesco Farioli’s group, but it forms part of the plan on this occasion.
Even so, Porto remain the fourth club with the most appearances in the competition, 28, behind Barcelona and Real Madrid, both on 31, and Bayern Munich on 30.
On Friday from 12:45, Farioli will preview matchday four of the league in a press conference at CTFD Jorge Costa.
