In response to the team's evident struggles, particularly within a vulnerable defensive line, the club's management has begun laying the groundwork for January reinforcements. Their primary target to shore up the backline appears to be the promising Senegalese defender, Ousmane Diao.

According to internal sources, Sevilla's Sporting Director, Antonio Cordon, has proactively initiated contact with the young player's representatives, signaling the club's serious intent to secure his signature as a key piece of their recovery plan.
