After successfully wrapping up the season with a second consecutive double, numerous FC Bayern Women are heading off to represent their national teams in World Cup qualifiers and international friendlies. fcbayern.com has compiled a comprehensive overview of the upcoming international break and highlights the FCB fixtures you can look forward to.

Dallmann, Bühl & Mahmutovic in action for Germany

During this next international break, the Germany women will wrap up their qualifying campaign for the 2027 World Cup in Brazil. For the two final matches in Group 4 of League A of the Women’s European Qualifiers, national team coach Christian Wück has handed call-ups to Franziska Kett, Klara Bühl, Linda Dallmann and Ena Mahmutovic. Kett, however, has been forced to withdraw from the squad due to injury, and Giulia Gwinn will not be joining up with the national team due to a shoulder injury.

First up is the game against Norway on 5 June (20.35) at the RheinEnergieSTADION in Cologne. The German side will then travel to Ljubljana, where their final group match against Slovenia will take place on 9 June (18:00).

Further World Cup qualifiers featuring FCB players (all times in CEST)

Edna Imade and Spain will first host Georgia Stanway and the Lionesses in Mallorca on Thursday, 5 June (21:00). The Spanish women will then travel to Iceland for a clash with the hosts, led by captain Glódís Viggósdóttir (9 June, 21:00). Prior to that, the FCB Women’s captain and her teammates will be away in Ukraine (5 June, 18:00). Reigning European champion Stanway will also face Ukraine in her second match (9 June, 21:00) in Liverpool.

Denmark will contest two World Cup qualifiers against Sweden (5 June, 19:15) and Serbia (9 June, 19:00). Pernille Harder and Stine Ballisager have both been named in the squad, although Harder will initially continue her rehab following her muscle injury.

Austria's Barbara Dunst and Katharina Naschenweng face tough matches against Slovenia (5 June, 18:00) and Norway (9 June, 18:00). Arianna Caruso and Italy will first face Serbia (5 June, 18:15 ) and then travel to Sweden (9 June, 19:00).

Gilles & Tanikawa set for friendlies

Vanessa Gilles and Momoko Tanikawa, meanwhile, will participate in several friendlies. Gilles is set to face Costa Rica with the Canadian national team on 10 June (03:30). The Asian champions from Japan, featuring FCB midfielder Tanikawa, will face South Africa in two consecutive clashes in Osaka (6 June, 08:50 & 9 June, 12:00).

Bernadette Amani will not be available for the Côte d'Ivoire's upcoming games following a minor knee operation. Mala Grohs, on the other hand, will be on duty with the German U23s and will play two games against Denmark's U23s. They'll first play in Leipzig on 4 June (18:00), followed by a clash in Halle on 8 June (20:15).
