Fecafoot: Eto'o extends his mandate until 2029! (official)

Samuel Eto'o will continue his journey at the helm of the Cameroonian Football Federation. The elective General Assembly of Fecafoot, held this Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the CAF Centre of Excellence in Mbankomo, confirmed his re-election for another four-year term. Unsurprisingly, the former Indomitable Lions captain, who stood as the sole candidate for his own succession, dominated the vote by a wide margin.

Out of the 87 delegates called to vote, 85 cast their ballots in favor of Samuel Eto'o, while two invalid ballots were recorded. This landslide victory gives him a remarkable score of 97.70%, marking clear continuity with the strong backing he enjoyed during his first term, which began in 2021. While the election unfolded with little suspense, it nevertheless confirms the solidity of his internal support.
