Felipe Augusto, 22, lifted his first senior trophy as Trabzonspor beat Konyaspor 2-1 to win the Türkiye Cup.

The former Corinthians forward started the final and said being crowned in his first season at the club was special, adding that he felt welcomed and proud of the campaign.

He finished with 15 goals in 40 appearances, ending as the team’s second-top scorer. On 7 May, club president Ertugrul Dogan said Trabzonspor had received an official offer from Benfica for the striker.

“There are offers from four clubs for Felipe, one of them is Benfica,” Dogan told A Spor.

According to ESPN, Felipe is valued at around €20m, roughly R$115m. Corinthians would be due 2.5 percent via FIFA’s solidarity mechanism for training compensation, which would equate to about R$2.87m on a R$115m deal.

Felipe left Corinthians for Cercle Brugge in 2023, then joined Trabzonspor in July 2025. For Corinthians’ first team he made 29 appearances, six as a starter, and scored two goals.
