Felipe Laurindo made his professional debut for Cianorte in a 0-0 draw away to Londrina at Estádio Municipal Jacy Scaff in the sixth round of the Paranaense on Saturday 24. According to Diario Do Peixe, the forward is on loan from Santos.

He featured in the last Copa São Paulo of his career, then, having aged out of the youth set-up, was told he would not be used this year by coach Vojvoda. The club opted for a move to secure minutes.

His contract runs until 30 November and he could leave Santos on a free.

Lauri ndo described the debut as one of the biggest achievements of his life, saying he waited 13 years for the moment and reflected on each stage and challenge. After three injuries, he said the experience reinforced his belief that he could go beyond what he once imagined.

Cianorte are into the state quarter-finals against Coritiba, with the first leg on Saturday 31 at 16:00 at Albino Turbay. The return is next Sunday 08 at 18:30 at Couto Pereira.

Looking ahead, Laurindo said he has high expectations for his second senior outing, feels light, prepared and motivated, and wants to help the team secure qualification.
