Félix agrees Benfica deal to 2030 after injury-hit year | OneFootball

Nuno Félix will stay at Benfica until 2030 after signing a four-year extension. The 22-year-old midfielder views the renewal as a significant vote of confidence.

According to Glorioso 1904, he suffered a complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in summer 2025. He had surgery on 1 August 2025 and says he is now ready to return to his best.

He joined the first team on 15 February 2025. He made his senior debut that day against Santa Clara in São Miguel in the 22nd round of the Liga, a 1-0 win. He came on in the 86th minute for Bruma.

He featured again later in 2024/25, finishing with three official appearances and 30 minutes, two in the Liga and one in the Taça de Portugal. His last outing that season was on 9 April 2025 against Tirsense in the first leg of the Taça de Portugal semi-finals, a 5-0 win.

His official return to competitive action came on 11 April 2026 for Benfica B against União de Leiria, following a prolonged rehabilitation.
