West Ham United played out a goalless draw with Everton at the London Stadium before the international break.
The Hammers had a brilliant opportunity to pick up full points and relieve some pressure off Julen Lopetegui.
But the East Londoners produced a disappointing display in front of their home crowd and ultimately deserved no more than a single point from the game.
West Ham have no fixture scheduled for about a week but many of their players are seen in action for their respective nations.
Vladimir Coufal was in action yesterday for his country as the Czech Republic played out a 0-0 draw with Albania in the Nations League.
The visitors made a positive start at the Air Albania Stadium and were twice denied by the crossbar.
But they ran out of gas in the second-half and ultimately had to settle for a single point.
Despite the stalemate, Ivan Hasek’s side have moved to the top in League B Group 1, leaving Georgia a point behind in second.
Coufal was impressive for his country on Saturday and the National media hailed his performance.
iSport gave the right-back a 6/10 rating, praising his cooperation with Václav Černý.
However, they also highlighted the 32-year-old ‘fell asleep’ once at the back.
iSport gave the following verdict on his performance: “He decently cooperated with Černý, opening space for him with his movements. Corners went into the right areas, with one he was hit in the arm by an object thrown by the home fans. He fell asleep backwards only once”.
Coufal joined West Ham in 2020 and has gone on to make 162 appearances in all competitions, with 20 goal contributions to his name.
However, he has been struggling for game time this season, with Lopetegui preferring to start summer arrival Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Coufal has featured in five Premier League matches so far this campaign, but three of them have come off the bench.
