Fenerbahçe held as Janderson cancels Dorgeles opener | OneFootball

Fenerbahçe 1-1 Göztepe at the Şükrü Saracoğlu, keeping the hosts second and prolonging their unbeaten league start, while ending the visitors' three-match winning run.

In the 17th minute Nene Dorgeles turned in Anthony Musaba's cross from close range for Kanarya.

Janderson levelled (24.) with a low finish into the bottom corner. In the fifth minute of first half stoppage time Ederson saved the forward's header, and moments later Arda Kurtulan struck the bar.

Ismail Yüksek went off injured before the break, with Fred adding poise for Kanarya after coming on. Late on, Kerem Aktürkoğlu's deliveries saw Mert Müldür and Jhon Durán go close, while Mateusz Lis saved well from a Durán header.

Kanarya dominated the ball with 81.5% possession and 21 attempts, as Musaba also hit the post early on. Göztepe registered 14 attempts and relied on Lis's four saves plus a backs-to-the-wall tally of 49 clearances.

Next, Kanarya visit FCSB in the Europa League. Göztepe host Fatih Karagümrük in the Süper Lig.
