Fenerbahce hold discussions with Serhou Guirassy’s representatives | OneFootball

Fenerbahce have identified Borussia Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy (30) as their number one transfer target this summer, according to a report by Bild.

Now the German outlet are citing a report from Turkey that Fenerbahce have already held negotiations with the player’s representatives. His brothers are reportedly ‘very open’ to discussions while Bild further note that Guirassy’s €35m release clause can’t be triggered by the Turkish side. This ultimately means that Dortmund can command a higher fee for Guirassy, with potential suitors needing to offer around €40m before Die Schwarzgelben’s management consider allowing their prized asset to leave.

Although Guirassy – who scored 22 goals and provided six assists in 46 appearances across all competitions this season – would be open to a move to Turkey should an enticing financial offer arise, the Guinean forward would rather wait until after the 2026 FIFA World Cup to see if any other opportunities come about.
