Fenerbahce push for Ademola Lookman as Atletico Madrid enquire | OneFootball

Fenerbahce are pushing to sign Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman, with the club from Türkiye set to offer more than €35 million for the 28-year-old, according to Get Italian Football News.

Atalanta are understood to be ready to approve a €40 million package including bonuses. Atletico Madrid have enquired, but Fenerbahce are currently ahead.

Sporting director Devin Özek has reportedly travelled to Italy for talks, and negotiations are said to be serious.

Last summer, Lookman sought a move from Bergamo. Inter Milan and Bayern Munich made enquiries, but nothing materialised.

This season the 41-cap Nigeria international has played 19 matches in all competitions, scoring three times and supplying two assists. Last term he delivered 20 goals and six assists in 40 games as Atalanta finished third in Serie A.
