Fenerbahçe have ruled out allowing Archie Brown to leave in this summer’s window despite formal and informal enquiries from Western Europe, according to Turkish-Football.com.

The 24-year-old arrived from K.A.A. Gent and has become a key part of the back line in Kadıköy. Club executives and the coaching staff are aligned and will not entertain talks.

Retaining core defenders is considered vital for domestic ambitions and upcoming UEFA Champions League qualifiers. Brown is under contract until June 2028, giving the club firm leverage. He is understood to be content in Istanbul and focused on regular minutes rather than an early return to Western Europe.

Brown has featured prominently across 25 matches in the 2025-26 campaign. His blend of aerial strength and energetic overlapping remains central to the left flank.

The decision provides continuity as pre-season preparations intensify.
