Fenerbahçe have stepped up a move for Angers striker Sidiki Chérif.

According to L'Équipe, the club have made repeated contact in recent days to try to persuade the 19-year-old.

After weeks in which he has received offers from clubs in England and France, he could yet end up in Türkiye.

The club have embarked on an ambitious winter campaign and are working to position themselves to finalise his arrival.

Notably, Crystal Palace and Paris FC have been involved.
