Fer Lopez set for Celta Vigo medical before loan return from Wolves

Fer Lopez is set to undergo a medical today ahead of a loan return to former club Celta Vigo.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, the Wolves forward has already flown to Spain after the clubs agreed a deal until the end of the season with no option to buy.

The 21-year-old joined Wolves from Celta in the summer in a 39.5 million move, but has struggled for minutes under Vitor Pereira and new boss Rob Edwards.

Lopez has made 12 appearances in all competitions, starting only two Premier League matches.

Celta will cover Lopez's full wages until the end of the season and will also pay Wolves a small loan fee.
