Lille swept aside Toulouse 4-0, with Matias Fernandez-Pardo involved in three goals in a dominant away display. L'Équipe highlights the forward’s relentless influence in a one-sided contest.
Thomas Meunier almost sent Fernandez-Pardo clear in the fifth minute, and Benjamin André produced a goal-line block to deny Gboho on 16 minutes. Meunier then broke the deadlock on 23 minutes, his tight-angle effort deflecting in off Nicolaisen.
After the break, Nabil Bentaleb surged and slipped in Fernandez-Pardo, who was hauled down by Mark McKenzie on the edge. The defender was dismissed on 48 minutes, and Romain Perraud whipped the resulting free-kick home on 50 minutes.
Fernandez-Pardo made it 3-0 on 55 minutes, spinning to drive in low from André’s pass. It was his seventh goal of the season, and he has been involved in six of LOSC’s last 12 league goals. He later nicked the ball from Cresswell but lifted a lob over on 73 minutes.
Olivier Giroud, introduced for André on 76 minutes, converted an 88th-minute penalty after Dayann Methalie handled an Ethan Mbappé control.
Perraud shut down Dönnum throughout, while Emersonn was booked on 63 minutes and replaced on 71 minutes. Meunier also contributed heavily in the physical battle.
