Despite lacking experience in senior management, Cristian Chivu has enjoyed a dream start to life at San Siro.

Indeed, Inter headed into November’s international break as joint leaders in both the Champions League and Serie A.

Furthermore, the 20-time Italian champions have been in formidable scoring form.

Though scoring had rarely been a problem for Inter under Simone Inzaghi, they’ve been far more prolific under Chivu.

Indeed, the Nerazzurri have already netted an eye-catching 37 goals in all competitions, including a league-high 26 in Serie A.

Chivu’s high-pressing philosophy has injected greater intensity and purpose into Inter’s attacking play, making them far more dangerous in attack.

Furthermore, Inter often lacked directness during Inzaghi’s tenure.

However, Chivu has made the San Siro giants more vertical by encouraging quicker transitions.
