Feyenoord run riot at Zwolle to climb into second | OneFootball

Feyenoord dismantled PEC Zwolle 7-0 in Zwolle, rising from third to second in the Eredivisie.

In the 11th minute Nacho Ferri had a goal ruled out after a VAR review. Simon Graves then put through his own net (18.), Ferri swept in from a Givairo Read pass (23.), and Gjivai Zechiël added a composed third (40.), also created by Read.

After the restart Ferri rifled in the fourth (49.). Anis Hadj Moussa made it five (63.), Jivayno Zinhagel steered in Read's cross (69.), and Hadj Moussa completed the rout with a tidy finish (77.).

Early on, Read struck both posts as Feyenoord seized control.

Tjark Ernst preserved the clean sheet with smart saves from Tobias Sommer and Dylan Mbayo after the break.

Feyenoord registered 26 attempts and controlled 62.3% possession. Zwolle managed six attempts. Zechiël is now on five league goals, third in the Eredivisie scoring chart.

Zwolle drop from 14th to 16th and into the relegation play-offs. Zwolle visit Groningen next. Feyenoord host Utrecht next.
