According to Voetbal International, Feyenoord are preparing to make a move for Brighton youngster Facundo Buonanotte. The Argentine international is a top target for Feyenoord, who are looking to sign the 19-year-old before they head off to their training camp in Austria. The Rotterdam club are looking at the possibility of a season-long loan with an affordable buy option.

Facundo Buonanotte featured 36 times for Brighton across all competitions last season, scoring four goals and providing an assist. The youngster is capable of playing as an attacking midfielder or on the wing, something the club are particularly interested in when it comes to bringing young players to De Kuip. The Seagulls signed him from Argentine side Rosario Central in January 2023, paying a reported €9m.

With Fabian Hürzeler now in charge of Brighton, there’s a possibility that Buonanotte could be surplus to requirements at the Amex next season. The Premier League side recently signed former Feyenoord favourite Yankuba Minteh, creating extra competition on the wing. At Feyenoord, Facundo Buonanotte would be provided with regular playing time.
