FFU Série A clubs to receive R$ 10 million advance in October | OneFootball

The 10 Futebol Forte União, FFU, clubs competing in Série A will receive R$ 10 million in October as an advance on rights linked to audience targets, normally settled at season's end, with the balance to be calculated once the tournament ends. Athletico-PR, Botafogo, Chapecoense, Corinthians, Coritiba, Cruzeiro, Fluminense, Internacional, Mirassol and Vasco are the eligible clubs.

The decision was taken on Wednesday at an Extraordinary General Assembly with the bloc's 33 members.

In the same meeting, an advance of R$ one million was approved for each of the 18 Série B teams, relating to revenues projected for 2027.

From next year, revenue distribution within the FFU will be 85% for Série A clubs and 15% for those in the second tier.

That split will increase payments to Série B sides, which this year received R$ 15.5 million. Projections, dependent on promotion and relegation, indicate rights could reach R$ 24 million in 2027.
