Ramos has already overseen one match at the 2026 tournament, the 2-2 draw between Iran and New Zealand in Group G.

He also handled Brazil’s 2018 World Cup opener in Russia, a 1-1 draw with Switzerland in Group E, when Philippe Coutinho scored for the Seleção.

Brazil lead Group C with four points, with Morocco also on four. Scotland have three points, while Haiti are on zero.

Kick-off is at 19:00 Brasília time at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. The match will be shown on Globo and SBT, with SporTV on pay TV, plus Globoplay and CazéTV streaming on YouTube.
