FIFA confirms the FTF's stance!

FIFA has ruled in favor of the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) following the complaint regarding the refusal of certain players to join the Tunisian B team for recent international fixtures.
According to a statement published on the official page of the Federation, the international body confirmed that the call-up of both players, Youssef Snana (Al-Sailiya, Qatar) and Louay Trayi (Al-Wahda, United Arab Emirates), was legal and mandatory. Their refusal to respond to the technical staff's summons exposes them to sanctions set out by international regulations. In this context, the Tunisian Federation reaffirms its commitment to protecting the rights of the national team and Tunisia's standing on the international stage. The FTF is also continuing discussions with the Qatari and Emirati federations to resolve the matter amicably, firmly rejecting any notion of the players being naturalized to benefit other countries. It is worth noting that FIFA's new regulations allow players to change their sporting nationality if they have not taken part in any official competition or have played fewer than three official matches with the senior national team, which applies to Youssef Snana and Louay Trayi.
