Mauritania is among the African nations set to compete in the sixth edition of the "Morocco, the Capital of African Football" tournament.This major gathering in Rabat and Casablanca presents a prime opportunity for the Mourabitounes to gear up for upcoming official competitions. Mauritania will play two friendly matches during the event.

The first clash is scheduled for March 27 against Liberia. The second will see the Mourabitounes take on the Canaan Lions from Palestine.After missing the last Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, Mauritania is banking on this camp to build a strong squad ahead of the 2027 AFCON qualifiers, which will be hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
