Filipe Luís has left Michael out of Flamengo’s squad to face São Paulo in the Brasileirão, with the forward close to a move to Santos.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the forward has accepted an offer to join Santos this season.

He is yet to sign because he has asked Flamengo to pay the full signing-on fee he is owed, a demand that has stalled talks between the clubs.

Flamengo are resisting the payment and have not accepted Santos’s offer.

Santos are prepared to pay four million dollars, R$ 21 million at current rates, and Flamengo would retain 20 per cent of his economic rights for a future sale.

Globo and Premiere will broadcast the interstate clássico.
