The AC Milan Women produced an excellent comeback against Fiorentina away from home on Sunday afternoon, scoring twice in the second half to earn a draw.
Two substitutes – Arrigoni and Karczewska – came off the bench and made a huge impact as Bakker decided to change things at the interval after what was a first half to forget.
The home side got out to a 2-0 lead with just 13 minutes on the clock and it looked like it could get quite messy, but then the Rossonere became more solid and the alterations at the break made the difference.
Arrigoni came on and scored after just 100 seconds to begin the fightback and then Renzotti won a penalty which Karczewska failed to score but she pounced on the rebound to level things at 2-2.
After two straight defeats, it was a big performance and a valuable point. Milan now have a week off before the derby on 8 December.
