Fiorentina have yet to finalise Moise Kean’s move to Como or agree terms with Manchester United for Joshua Zirkzee, and are now focusing on Everton striker Beto as a potential replacement.
Sky Sport Italia, Sport Mediaset and Corriere dello Sport report United have yet to give the green light for Zirkzee, with a 5m paid loan and option proposed. United are hesitant and the former Bologna forward still hopes Juventus return with a better bid.
The Viola are very likely to accept Como’s proposal for Kean, who is pushing for a Champions League move, but a replacement must arrive first. A 35m basic agreement plus 5m in add-ons is in place, with discussions over activation terms.
United would prefer a permanent sale or an obligation to buy. With that in mind, Fiorentina are said to have made a fresh approach for Beto.
Beto spent 2021 to 2023 with Udinese before a 25m move, plus bonuses, to Everton. The 28-year-old scored 10 goals and one assist in 40 competitive matches last season.
