Fiorentina lodge €13m bid for Palmeiras left-back Arthur | OneFootball

According to Nosso Palestra, Fiorentina have submitted a €13 million, around R$ 78 million, offer to sign Palmeiras left-back Arthur.

Arthur, promoted to the first team this year and a standout in the first half of 2026, is deputy to Joaquín Piquerez.

He is expected to start on Sunday (23) against Vasco da Gama at Nubank Parque in the Campeonato Brasileiro.

The report also noted interest from clubs in England and Greece, whose identities remain undisclosed.

Despite the attention, Palmeiras have indicated they do not wish to negotiate now because Jefté will only return in 2027.

A sale in the next transfer window is not ruled out, and the club expects bids above €10 million, about R$ 60 million.

In the first half of the year, injuries to Piquerez and Jefté opened the door for Arthur, who impressed in crucial games in April and May.

He has made 26 appearances this season and is under contract until the end of 2029.
