Fiorentina are now all but set to sign Empoli full-back Fabiano Parisi, who will join the club on a permanent transfer.
Alfredo Pedulla, who has kept close tabs on the situation of the defender, has reported that an agreement between the two clubs has now been reached a few minutes ago.
Fiorentina will pay an initial fee of €10 million and add-ons of €2 million depending on how much he plays for La Viola. A five-year deal is being prepared for the Italian, with personal terms not expected to be an issue for the player’s signature.
Juventus were also interested in Parisi but they needed a sale to bring a move possible. Torino were also interested but they are moving for Josh Doig. Fiorentina have now made the decisive lunge, with Empoli already looking at potential replacements for the talented full-back. Giuseppe Pezzella is an option and so is Tommaso Augello.
