Fiorentina could be without key striker Moise Kean for Monday evening’s crucial Serie A trip to Cremonese at the Stadio Zini.
Goal reports that Kean has yet to rejoin full group training and has been working individually in recent days.
It is a high-stakes relegation contest, third-bottom against the side directly above. Victory would open a four-point cushion above the drop zone for the Viola.
Paolo Vanoli’s team arrive after a comeback win over Rakow Czestochowa in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16, though domestic priorities now take precedence.
Vanoli hopes to have Kean available, but his status remains uncertain. The former Juventus forward has not played since 2 March, when he was forced off in the 71st minute during defeat to Udinese.
He has since missed the Serie A meeting with Parma Calcio 1913 and the European fixture with Rakow due to a tibia problem.
Fiorentina’s medical staff will monitor him over the coming days. Given the stakes, he could be considered even if not fully fit, with a final decision likely closer to kick-off.
