A first half flurry of goals from Borussia Dortmund saw them see off Cerezo Osaka 3-2 in friendly duty in Asia despite the hosts’ fightback.
Scorers: Shibayama 66′, Sakata 73′; Adeyemi 26′, 30′, Bynoe-Gittens 29′
After a heavy loss last week in the opening game of their tour while fielding a weakened side, Dortmund made no such mistakes this time and put the game out of reach of their hosts with a three-goal salvo in just four minutes early on.
Karim Adeyemi got things started before Jamie Bynoe-Gittens stole the show by racing down the left flank and cutting inside to find the far corner with a fantastic finish.
Moments later, Adeyemi added his second with another cool finish after getting clear of the defence and wrap things up before the half-time whistle had even blown.
After the break, the home side did set up a nervy finish for Nuri Sahin’s side with goals from Masaya Sibayama and Reiya Sakata but Dortmund held firm for victory.
