It's the business end of the ADMIRAL Women's Bundesliga season! On Saturday, our RBS women's team kicks off their championship campaign with a home game against SK Sturm Graz. Kick-off is at 14:00 CEST, and admission to the Liefering Academy is free.
It was arguably the most spectacular match in recent memory. After the game was moved to Deutschlandsberg due to snow, the last encounter with the Graz team featured so many twists and turns. Even a 2-5 deficit didn't faze our team, with Christina Gierzinger scoring the equaliser – against her former teammates – to make it 5-5 in stoppage time.

Two months have passed since then, but the ambition to finally beat Sturm after two previous defeats remains. This opening match of the final round is the first of six bonus games, from which our girls naturally want to get the most out of – starting with reducing the gap to SK Sturm, currently third and on course for European qualification, to three points.
We also have the chance to prepare for 14 May, when, amid the hustle and bustle of the league's final stretch, the big highlight of the season awaits: the Austrian Women's Cup final against Austria Vienna at the Wiener Sport-Club stadium! All the ticket information is summarised on the following link:
The hunger to make a strong start to the championship round is definitely there, but the focus is clearly on our performance – we want to play with courage! The girls have earned the right to make this stage of the championship with their fantastic development and absolutely deserve it. Now, however, it's important to stay focused and implement our game plan.

While the opening fixtures are a home double-header against SK Sturm Graz and FK Austria Wien (April 25 and May 3 respectively), two matches against SKN St. Pölten will follow. The group concludes with an away game in Graz-Messendorf on 29 May.
