Liverpool have today confirmed the departure of talented youngster Bobby Clark who has completed a £10m move to Red Bull Salzburg.

Clark is set for a reunion with former Liverpool assistant manager Pep Ljinders who stepped into his first managerial role at the Austrian side following his decision to depart the Anfield side at the same time as Jurgen Klopp.

The 19 year-old moved to Merseyside in 2021 following a move away from his boyhood club Newcastle United. The midfielder endured an impressive campaign last year with Liverpool's first-team, making 12 appearances for Liverpool and continuing to find himself in Klopp's plans. Clark was given starting roles in both the Premier League and Europa League, while also playing a key part in Liverpool's memorable Carabao Cup final triumph over Chelsea.

The youngster has been linked with a move away from the club for the majority of the summer window and Ljinders' interest in him has been of no secret.

Bobby Clark's departure has sparked strong reaction from Liverpool fans as they see another exciting youngster depart Merseyside on a permanent transfer.

The decision to sell Clark has been met with heavy criticism from some Liverpool fans on social media, who are worried about squad depth after a summer in which no signings have been made so far.

Clark joins Fabio Carvalho in the category of exciting youngsters with heaps of potential leaving the club permanently, with more set to leave before the end of the summer window, either on loan or permanently. Ben Doak, Stefan Bajcetic, James McConnell, Tyler Morton and Kaide Gordon are all rumoured with moves away from the Anfield club.

Fears have began to mount regarding The Reds' squad depth following a summer of complete inaction regarding incomings, with multiple having bid farewell to Liverpool.

Mo Salah has been able to maintain peak fitness for a lot longer than most expected and his secret behind it has finally been revealed.

The Egyptian is someone who takes his fitness very seriously and a recent Daily Mail report revealed that the forward's house has two gym rooms, cryotherapy facilities and a hyperbaric chamber to aid with recovery.

Salah also posseses an impressive diet with a private chef, and broccoli amongst other super foods constantly on the menu.

The 32 year-old's passion for fitness doesn't just apply to his physical well-being, with Salah regularly participating in online chess, meditation and yoga to aid with exercising his mind.

The winger's ability to remain in peak physical condition has allowed himself to continue to be a vital player for Liverpool with his ability to score and create goals showing no sign of slowing down. The Egyptian opened his account for the season in The Reds' curtain raiser against Ipswich Town last weekend, whilst also providing the assist for Diogo Jota's opener.

Liverpool's final message to Fabio Carvalho was enough to seal the youngster's exit this summer.

Liverpool reportedly had a message for Carvalho after pre-season that essentially sealed his exit. Per DaveOCKop, the player was told that he wouldn't have gotten much game time in the USA if Cody Gakpo had been available.

Soon after returning back from their American tour, Fabio Carvalho completed a permanent move to Premier League side Brentford for a fee of £27.5 million bringing an end to a two-year spell at Liverpool.

The Portuguese attacker spent his second season at The Reds on loan with RB Leipzig that proved to be disasterous, with just 180 minutes given to the youngster before a premature return to Liverpool six months later. He was then sent on loan to Championship side Hull City where Carvalho impressed and ultimatley earnt himself a spot in Liverpool's squad for their USA tour.

Liverpool could miss out on forward Ademola Lookman as Arsenal have reportedly proposed a £42 million offer.

Alfredo Pedulla claims Arsenal have proposed a £42m deal with Atalanta for Ademola Lookman. The Nigerian winger has been linked with a move away from the Europa League Champions Atalanta and has been heavily rumoured with a move to Paris St Germain.

Lookman has reportedly opted to sit out of training this week to try and force a move to the French capital. PSG interest subsequently waned, however.

Arsenal are now believed to be pushing the hardest for the former Everton man, but Liverpool are known to be waiting in the background.

Liverpool have struck a £35 million agreement to secure their long awaited first summer signing.

Liverpool are understood to have reached a deal with Valencia for Georgian goalkeepr Giorgi Mamardashvili according to Spanish journalist Hector Gomez. There are two important factors to consider, however. The first is that the 23 year-old will not join Liverpool for at least another year. He's set to remain with the Spanish club for the upcoming season and only next year will he possibly move to Merseyside.

A first summer signing looks all but done for Liverpool, though it isn't one that'll bolster Arne Slot's squad imminently.

Andy Robertson has revealed he has been playing through pain since March.

The Scottish international is one of many players across Europe who has hardly stopped due to his participation in this summer's European Championships following the conclusion of the domestic campaigns.

Robertson suffered an ankle injury during the March international break and was forced off in his nation's friendly with Northern Ireland. Since then, the defender has revealed he's been playing through a pain barrier.

With just a week left to go in the summer transfer window, Liverpool are yet to make a single singing, but a free transfer remains a possibility.

Despite inaction on the incomings scene, it has been no secret Arne Slot has looked to bolster his midfield with main target Martin Zubimendi rejecting an offer from Liverpool to remain at his boyhood club Real Sociedad.

Frenchman Adrien Rabiot has found himself as a free agent after turning down an offer to extend his stay at Juventus, and now is waiting for his Mother, who is also his agent, to find him a club that coincides with his aspirations to play Champions League football.

Liverpool are amongsts a number of clubs linked with the defensive midfielder, and the French international could boast some value to Slot's side.
