First team pre-season 2026/2027 | OneFootball

Girona FC will kick off their 2026/27 pre-season on 8 July, with the usual medical tests and the first training sessions at the Girona Football Academy by Puma facilities in Vilablareix. The team will thus begin a crucial period of preparation with the aim of being in peak condition for the start of the official season.

As part of this preparation, the first team will hold a training camp from 20 to 25 July at the Royalverd Training Centre in Vall d’en Bas, where they will continue to fine-tune their physical and tactical readiness in an ideal working environment.

During the pre-season, Girona FC will play a number of friendly matches, allowing the team to clock up playing time and build up match fitness. The confirmed fixtures are:

22 july (20:00 h) - UE OLOT vs. GIRONA FC

Municipal Stadium of Olot

29 july (18:30 h) - GIRONA FC vs. CD CASTELLÓN

Arsenal FC at the Costa Brava Trophy

In addition to these, a highlight will be the match between Quique Álvarez’s side and Arsenal FC at the 49th Costa Brava Trophy, marking Estrella Damm’s 150th anniversary. The match will take place on 1 August at the Montilivi Stadium.
