Ruben Amorim calls up academy players amid mounting injury crisis
Five teenagers have been added to the Manchester United squad that has travelled to London for Sunday’s Premier League clash with Tottenham.
Amid a mounting injury crisis, Ruben Amorim has called up players from the academy who have been training with the first-team squad this week.
United have been dealt a major injury blow after Amad Diallo suffered ankle ligament damage in training that could keep him out for the rest of the season.
Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer have also been ruled out of the Spurs game, with Lisandro Martinez, Jonny Evans, Luke Shaw and Mason Mount still sidelined along with goalkeepers Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton.
