The new Premier League season is upon us, so we have picked out the very home kits we will see in the 2026/27 campaign.

Here are our top five jerseys, in no particular order.

Five of the best Premier League home kits in 2026/27:

Liverpool

I must admit, the thick stripes Adidas have painted on their kit designs this year were initially off putting to me, but I liked how they looked on their World Cup kits and so they have grown on me.

The German manufacturer have gone back the iconic Candy kit of the late eighties to find inspiration for this very attractive Liverpool shirt.

Man Utd

Adidas has also done a stellar job with Manchester United‘s home kit; the shade of red they have used really pops, and the black stripe on the collar and sleeves just feels right for a Red Devils top.

Coventry City

Hummel have produced some stunning (and some not so stunning) Coventry City kits over the years, but this is one of their best. The design is inspired by the FA Cup-winning team of 1987, employing a deeper shade of sky blue like the one worn on that glorious day in the club’s history.

The four-tone sky blue jacquard pattern is apparently inspired by the scenes that filled the city centre when the trophy was brought home. There’s also a stylised ‘1987’ woven into the back neck.

Sunderland

Another retro-themed jersey inspired by an FA Cup win. Hummel really have a type this year, huh?

Sunderland‘s home kit pays tribute to the 1937 side that won the competition for the first time in the club’s history. The black shield and blacked out shorts complement the overall design, but there’s more to this top when you look closely.

There is an S-shaped design all over the shirt, which are reproductions of the cup’s handles, while inside the collar are the names of all the players from the final.

Ipswich Town

Umbro have taken inspiration from Portman Road’s floodlights for Ipswich Town‘s home kit, which sounds a bit naff, but they have nonetheless come up with a very nice design that is pleasing to the eye.
