New signings should be given time to settle in their surroundings but a number of Premier League recruits have hit the ground running in 2025/26.

We’ve picked out five Premier League summer signings who have made an immediate impact.

Joao Pedro (Chelsea)

Joao Pedro joined up with Chelsea at the FIFA Club World Cup in the summer and started with a bang, scoring three times in two appearances as the West Londoners won the tournament.

The Brazilian has picked up where he left off in the Premier League, with four goal involvements across the opening three games.

No player in the division has managed more, and Chelsea will hope Pedro can continue that form, with fellow recruit Liam Delap sidelined with a hamstring issue.

Jack Grealish (Everton)

Jack Grealish appears revitalised after joining Everton on loan this season. After a frustrating time out of favour at Manchester City, Grealish has provided glimpses of the old magic in an Everton shirt.

The 30-year-old has four assists from just 197 minutes of league action for the Toffees, taking an early lead in the Playmaker standings. Incredibly, his four Premier League assists are more than he managed across the last two campaigns at the Etihad (2). It’s good to have you back, Jack.

Keirnan Dewsbury-Hall (Everton)

Another player making the most of a fresh start at Everton. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall struggled for league minutes at Chelsea last season before signing for Everton in a £25m deal this summer.

The 26-year-old has made an immediate impression, showing an early understanding with Jack Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye as part of the club’s new creative cast. No English player has created more chances than Dewsbury-Hall so far this season, while the ex-Leicester man opened his goal account at Wolves last time out.

Hugo Ekitike (Liverpool)

Liverpool signed Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer for an initial fee of £69m. It was an eyebrow-raising fee for the Frenchman, who, despite an excellent season in Germany, had failed to establish himself previously at Paris Saint-Germain.

After scoring in the Community Shield, Ekitike netted in each of his first two Premier League appearances. The 22-year-old has shown superb link-up in his maiden outings, alongside instincts around the area.

The arrival of Alexander Isak could see his minutes shared. But after making his France debut earlier this month, Ekitike has said he is relishing the competition.

Mohammed Kudus (Tottenham Hotspur)

Tottenham Hotspur capitalised on West Ham’s need to sell this summer with a raid on their London rivals. Mohammed Kudus crossed the capital for a £55m fee and started with a bang with two assists on debut.

The Ghana international can be inconsistent, but has had a positive start with Spurs. After three games, he ranks among the Premier League leaders for crosses into the penalty area (1st), chances created (6th), tackles (10th), and successful take-ons (2nd).
