Napoli welcome Milan to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona aware that three points are vital to keep pace with their city rivals Inter at the top of the table.

The Partenopei currently occupy second place - the position Milan finished last season in and despite spending €110m in the last two transfer windows, they are now seven places and 14 points behind their hosts on Sunday night.

But there are big concerns that the wheels are coming off the title challenge for Antonio Conte's men who, after a strong start, have won just one of their last seven league games and are 13th in the form table since the start of February.

Milan are also chasing some history - they are unbeaten in each of their last six trips to Naples. Never before have they gone seven in succession without losing.

Tudor takes over

Juventus made the difficult decision during the international break to put an end to the Thiago Motta experiment and he has been replaced by former club hero Igor Tudor in the dugout.

He can't be accused of not knowing what it means to succeed in Turin and was almost giddy at the prospect of returning, having driven over 100km and 10 hours from Split upon receiving the call from the club.

"What happened before doesn't matter now," he said ahead of their clash with Genoa. "I wish I could stay in this job for the next 10 years! But I'll do my job the best I can anyway."

In his previous spell as a Serie A coach, which interestingly were also for the last nine games last year at Lazio, Tudor picked up 18 points, with only Atalanta gaining more with 19, while his Aquile side also conceded the fewest goals in that time with six.

Inter out to add to stellar stats

There is no doubt who Italy's top team are. Ahead of their meeting with Udinese, Inter sit top of Serie A and are also in the final stages of the Champions League and Coppa Italia - hitting some impressive milestones along the way.

In Serie A, they have scored more goals than any other side on 65, with Marcus Thuram their top marksman with 13 of those, while they have also had more scoring contributions from defenders than any other team too with an impressive 16.

But they also do their defensive duties too. The Nerazzurri have conceded just 23 goals all season, while Yann Sommer has kept more clean sheets than any other goalkeeper with 12.

They also have more total shots, completed passes and key passes than any other team too. Tune in to see what makes this side so special to watch.

Who deputises for Dybala?

Roma were dealt a big blow last time out when Paulo Dybala sustained a thigh injury which is set to rule him out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery.

So how do the Giallorossi go about finding a way to set up in attack without La Joya? That is the question Claudio Ranieri will be forced to answer.

"I have various solutions," he mused ahead of their clash with Lecce. "The pitch will tell me who is more ready than the others. I've made no preferences."

As a result of that injury and others, there are suggestions Roma may move away from their 3-4-2-1 system to a 4-3-3 for the coming weeks. Let's find out how they cope...

Can underrated Italy star earn recall?

The most recent international break will have been a frustrating one for Bologna standout Riccardo Orsolini, who was again watching Luciano Spalletti's side from home.

The 28-year-old hasn't been capped since pre-Euro 2024 and has been absent from each of the past 13 Italy squads and although there may not be an ideal position for him within the side, he is certainly worthy of a chance on form.

Orsolini has now hit double figures for goals for the past three seasons and in that span, no other Italian has scored 10 goals in more than one campaign - with his 31 goals making him the top scoring Italian since 2022.

With a trip to Venezia next up, it offers the perfect chance for him to continue doing what he does best... and perhaps play his way back into Azzurri contention.
