Five Rojiblancos feature for Mexico against Peru! | OneFootball

The Selección Mexicana drew 1-1 with Peru last night at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey, in the team’s second match under Rafael Márquez. Guadalajara had significant representation in the game, as 5 of the 6 Rojiblancos called up saw action.

Diego Campillo and Luis Romo came on in the 61st minute, while Roberto Alvarado, Santiago Sandoval, and Hugo Camberos entered the match in the 78th minute. In fact, for Sandoval and Camberos, the match marked their debuts with the Mexican Senior National Team, after helping Mexico win the Concacaf U-20 Championship last August.

Raúl Rangel, who started in goal and played all 90 minutes in the previous match against Colombia, remained on the bench. Mexico will now prepare for its third match of this FIFA international window, when it faces the United States this Saturday, October 3, at 8:00 PM (CT) at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
