Flamengo and Mirassol meet at the Maracanã on Wednesday to complete the Brasileirão’s delayed fourth round.
According to Coluna Do Fla, it is their first clash at the stadium in more than a year.
The only previous meeting there came in August 2025, when Flamengo won 2-1. Léo Pereira and Plata scored for the hosts, with Gabriel replying for Mirassol.
Flamengo sit second on 48 points, four behind leaders Palmeiras. Leonardo Jardim’s side have 14 wins, six draws and four defeats from 24 matches.
Mirassol are 16th on 25 points after 24 games, with six wins, seven draws and 11 losses.
Flamengo have never lost to Mirassol in three meetings, with two wins and one draw. In the 2026 first round they won 5-1 at the Maião, through Carrascal, Luiz Araújo, Pedro, who scored twice, and Samuel Lino.
Mirassol need points to pull clear of the relegation fight and are expected to be proactive, while Flamengo chase three points to pressure Palmeiras. Kick-off is at 19:30 Brasília time.
