Flamengo and Mirassol meet at Maião on Sunday in round 23 of the Campeonato Brasileiro, before their first-half meeting has taken place.

The fourth round fixture, scheduled for 26 February, was postponed by the CBF due to Flamengo’s Recopa Sul-Americana commitments against Lanús. According to Globo.com, the federation has yet to confirm a new date and is studying the use of upcoming Copa do Brasil slots.

The CBF moved the match to avoid a calendar clash and to safeguard the club’s preparation for the continental final.

Since then, a lack of open dates has blocked a rearrangement. Flamengo went out of the Copa do Brasil to Vitória in May, but Mirassol only exited last week against Grêmio.

With both clubs still in the Conmebol Libertadores, workable windows were tied to Copa do Brasil rounds, so rescheduling only became feasible once both were out of the national cup.

Neither club has been informed of a new date. The CBF is considering the next Copa do Brasil window for the outstanding game, but options remain under review.
