Flamengo confirm Léo Ortiz thigh injury after 3-0 win over Coritiba

Flamengo defeated Coritiba at the Maracanã on Saturday in the Campeonato Brasileiro, but defender Léo Ortiz suffered a thigh injury.
The club said in a statement that an MRI showed a small muscle injury in the back of his right thigh after he went off in the first half. He has already started treatment with the medical department.
Ortiz pulled up after 15 minutes while chasing Pedro Rocha down the flank of Flamengo’s defence. He was replaced immediately by coach Leonardo Jardim.
In their final match before the World Cup break, Samuel Lino opened the scoring for the hosts. Pedro quickly made it 2-0.
Samuel Lino struck again to seal a 3-0 win. The result moved Flamengo to 34 points in the Brasileiro.
