Tottenham are in advanced talks to sign Lucas Paquetá from West Ham, and Flamengo could bank a seven-figure sum if the deal is completed.
According to Tottenham News, the London club intend to pay €29m, roughly R$186m, for the midfielder. As Paquetá is a Flamengo academy product, the Rio side are entitled to 4% of any transfer involving him.
That would be about €1.18m, approximately R$7.5m, flowing to Flamengo if the move goes through.
Flamengo have not attempted to re-sign Paquetá in the current window. The club have indicated they would open talks if he wished to return to Brazilian football.
Separately, Flamengo have agreed the signing of Vitão from Internacional. The centre-back has completed his medical and will sign after returning from holiday.
