Flamengo held by Internacional as winless run reaches fourth match of 2026

Flamengo drew 1-1 with Internacional on Wednesday in the second round of the Brasileirão, extending their 2026 winless run to four matches.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the barren run has irked supporters, who booed the team at the Maracanã.

The recent sequence with the senior side included 2-1 defeats to Fluminense and São Paulo. They also finished runners-up in the Supercopa after a 2-0 loss to Corinthians.

Across eight matches in 2026, Flamengo have recorded two draws, five defeats and one win. Three of those fixtures were played by the under-20s.

They return to action on Saturday, when they face Sampaio Corrêa in the sixth round of the Campeonato Carioca, with kick-off at 21:00 Brasília time at the Maracanã.
