Flamengo are in talks with Granada of Spain over a deal for attacking midfielder Lorran, who returned from a loan at Pisa in June and has been used by Leonardo Jardim.
According to Globo.com, discussions are at an early stage and there is no formal offer on the Rio club’s table. The sides are weighing up structures, with an initial preference for a sale while retaining a percentage for any future deal.
The 20-year-old still has to decide whether he wants a permanent return to Europe, a factor that will be considered in the coming days.
Flamengo had initially planned another loan after his return, but a strong pre-season put him in Jardim’s plans following the World Cup. He came on in the second half against Chapecoense and scored, then started against São Paulo.
Any departure would also require approval from the coaching staff and must make sense for the club.
Loaned to Pisa last September, he made 10 appearances, only one from the start, and scored on his debut before seeing limited minutes. His Flamengo contract runs to 2029 and includes a 100 million euros release clause, around R$ 591.48 million.
