Flamengo name squad for Cruzeiro trip, three ruled out | OneFootball

Flamengo have named their squad to face Cruzeiro at the Mineirão on Saturday in the 24th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, with three players unavailable.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the travelling party comprises goalkeeper Rossi, defenders Ayrton Lucas, Danilo, Emerson Royal, Varela, João Victor, Léo Ortiz, Léo Pereira and Jhonny, and midfielders Jorginho, Erick Pulgar, Evertton Araújo, Saúl, Carrascal, Arrascaeta and Lucas Paquetá. The forwards are Lorran, Bruno Henrique, Luiz Araújo, Pedro, Plata and Samuel Lino.

Alex Sandro is out as he continues treatment for calf pain, while centre-back Vitão remains sidelined with a muscle injury. De La Cruz is also missing with a left thigh muscle contusion.

The squad are due to fly to Belo Horizonte on Friday, with departure scheduled for 16:00 Brasília time.

The sides meet again after contesting a place in the Libertadores quarter-finals, this time in the league. Kick-off is 20:30, Brasília time.
