Flamengo name starting XI for Vitória trip as they chase first league win | OneFootball

Flamengo chase their first Brasileirão win on Tuesday 10 against Vitória, kick-off 21:30 Brasília time in Salvador, after Filipe Luís confirmed his line-up.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the starting XI is Agustín Rossi, Emerson Royal, Léo Ortiz, Léo Pereira, Alex Sandro, Erick Pulgar, Evertton Araújo, Arrascaeta, Everton Cebolinha, Lucas Paquetá and Pedro.

On the bench are Andrew, Daniel Sales, Danilo, Vitão, Ayrton Lucas, De La Cruz, Pablo Lucio, Carrascal, Plata, Lino, Bruno Henrique and Wallace Yan.

Flamengo have four absentees. Jorginho is recovering from a muscle injury and is expected to return in three weeks, while Varela has pain in his right ankle. Luiz Araújo is in physical reconditioning without a medical problem, and Saúl still needs more time after Achilles tendon surgery.

Allan is no longer an absentee, the midfielder arrived in São Paulo on Tuesday 10 to undergo medicals and sign with Corinthians. Filipe Luís also welcomes back Rossi, Léo Ortiz, Alex Sandro, De La Cruz and Arrascaeta, all rested for the rout of Sampaio Corrêa.

Flamengo trail Vitória in the Brasileirão standings. The champions have one point after defeat by São Paulo and a draw with Internacional. Vitória beat Remo in their opener, then lost 5-1 to Palmeiras last time out.
