According to Globo.com, Flamengo became the first Brazilian club to surpass one million home tickets sold in 2026 after Sunday’s 3-0 Brasileiro win over Botafogo.
The match drew 61,934 paying fans, taking the season total to 1,044,968 across 21 home fixtures. Of those, 20 were at the Maracanã and one at Raulino de Oliveira in Volta Redonda.
The Supercopa do Brasil crowd at Mané Garrincha, won by Corinthians early in the season, is excluded as it was a neutral-venue game.
Flamengo lead the country for average attendance this year with 49,760 paying per game, and top the Brasileiro’s average with 58,203 per match.
All of the club’s 10 biggest home gates of 2026 have been at the Maracanã, headed by 72,481 for the 2-1 Libertadores win over Cruzeiro.
