Flamengo face Botafogo in a Brasileirão derby at the Maracanã on Sunday from 16:00 Brasília time, in the 25th round. Both sides are set to field their strongest available teams.

According to Coluna Do Fla, Flamengo's probable XI is Rossi, Varela or Emerson Royal, Léo Ortiz, Léo Pereira, Ayrton Lucas, Pulgar, Jorginho, Arrascaeta, Carrascal or Lucas Paquetá, Samuel Lino and Pedro.

With Gonzalo Plata's move to Dynamo Moscow, Leonardo Jardim could turn to Jorge Carrascal in the wide role, while Lucas Paquetá and Luiz Araújo are also options. At right-back, Jardim has used Varela at weekends and Emerson Royal on Wednesdays, and with a free week either could start.

Botafogo's expected line-up is Gabriel Batista, Vitinho, Ferraresi, Justino, Telles, Huguinho, Medina, Danilo, Montoro, Arthur Cabral and Danilo Pereira.

The visitors arrive in crisis under interim coach Rodrigo Bellão, looking to the clássico to lift spirits after a humbling Copa Sudamericana exit, which included a six-goal defeat to Peruvian side Cienciano.

Gabriel Batista is a Flamengo academy graduate. In midfield, Danilo could return to the XI after recent muscle pain, while the much-criticised Arthur Cabral is set to keep his place up front.

Globo will broadcast the match to most of Brazil, with São Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul, Paraná and Maranhão showing Corinthians v Santos instead. The game is also on Premiere pay-per-view and GETV on YouTube.
