Flamengo social post stokes Lucas Paquetá talk amid €35m offer

Flamengo have teased supporters on social media, heightening talk of a Lucas Paquetá return, although no agreement is in place with West Ham.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the club posted on X, formerly Twitter, sharing an image of a mock chat about longing and the Maracanã with a caption about coming home, prompting fans to call for an announcement.

It remains the case that Paquetá is not a Flamengo player. The Brazilian side are working to find an agreement with the English club.

On Thursday 22, Flamengo submitted an official bid worth €35m plus €5m in bonuses to West Ham and are awaiting a response.

While negotiations continue, Flamengo turn to the pitch. They face Fluminense on Sunday 25 in the fourth round of the Carioca at the Maracanã, kick-off 18:00 Brasília time.
