Flamengo aim to complete their Ninho do Urubu mini-stadium in the second half of 2027, with capacity for 4,500. It is set to host under-20 and women’s matches, and the club also plan two official futsal courts at the complex.

According to Globo.com, completion is forecast between July and August 2027. The club awaits release of R$ 8,365,137.82 from a state incentive, though it may forgo that to finish sooner.

The venue is field 10 at the training centre. The pitch is ready, with only the surrounds to finish, after works that began in 2024. Floodlights will allow night games.

Facilities will include four player dressing rooms, two for officials, a doping control room and a meeting room, plus reception and administrative areas. A hospitality box will sit on the second floor. The technical area will be covered and a tower will serve scoreboard, broadcast and offside functions.

Flamengo submitted the project in January to the State Secretariat of Sport and Leisure of Rio de Janeiro. If the incentive is not granted in 2026, the board plans to book the amount in the 2027 budget and fund it from club coffers.

The schedule began late in Rodolfo Landim’s tenure, with an initial delivery target of the end of 2024. The venue sits near the entrance to the right.

The club currently has 10 pitches shared by first team and academy. The seniors mainly use one, two and three, with two the only hybrid surface like Maracanã. Fields seven, eight and nine are smaller and synthetic, and field 12 is due in July.
